Well, Harry's call, his route, and I'll be happy to go along with whatever is decided upon. But I think I'll have to replicate one of what used to be my regular rides out that way soon, probably starting at the Beach. Although, thinking about it, I'd have to start from Romford to get Gravel Lane and the Abridge to Theydon Bois road in too

I've already employed my slippery shoulders on this one.... the route is there for the making.  I don't know the area at all so relying on local knowledge from people, if I manage to get 18 foccers to Saffron for the start of my ride then that's my job complete LOL

hi stevie,bri.....start time at saffron is 11.00am (atm    )...we could go via chesham,hemel hempstead way,not sure of the route there after but i have a map you know  ....HW to HH is a 40 min ride + what we have to get to SW so i would say 90mins in total...how about 9 / 9.15 at HW cinema.....dont forget we loose an hour,is that too early ?

And  don't forget the breakfast stops, you have to have had at least one before Saffron.....

hello ...paul,.if we are going to meet with punkstig in hemel, I will meet you in Amersham if your going over on the A404... how about Tesco's in the old town about 9.30 if your leaving Wycombe at 9.15?   then we can bob over via bovvy to hemel...... that way I can have a lie in

punkstig, are you going the A414 route?... its all dutch to me when I get the wrong side of the M1
