Can someone from Birmingham or the surrounding area  borrow / sell me speedometer sensor for Yamaha Fazer 600 ??

They are not too expensive brand new .Bought one from Fowlers for under £20 if i remember correctly.It will break again if you don't remove the wheel correctly.

On the 600 forum he's said that the sensor was okay?

The Speedometer Sensor and Speedometer Sensor Rotor are totally different items with very different prices about £140 for the sensor and about 20 for the rotor. If you have to buy one make sure you order the correct item.

I presume it is the Rotor which is broken as this is the most common and due to careless fitting of the front wheel.

Have you removed the front wheel to check its condition?

Yes I have. The rotor looks OK. Best if I could buy used sensor and rotor. Anyone have one? :)
