Went to see it live a couple of weeks ago, best show I have ever seen :cool

Me and the Mrs saw this a few years back. Very good show from an excellent album

seen it live 4 times now. the new generation album is good,but it will never beat the original imho
but you can only listen to it LOUD-sod the neighbours  :lol

I do love this, it's a fantastic audio compilation. I haven't been lucky enough to see it in theatre or anything, but just sat down working away with this playing is good enough for now ^^

Got the original version on LP. Getting a bit scratchy now but definately the best version also had the book but that got loaned out and never returned.

I know it was the "final arena tour" but they may do it again sometime and this should be on your bucket list.
I hadn't researched the show before I saw it so I had no pre conceived idea what to expect.
I have to say it was brilliant, I was not disappointed in any way. Its a fusion of cinema, live actors and the band and orchestra, all being conducted by Jeff himself.
Oh and the Martian fighting machine trying to kill the audience, absolutely brilliant.

 Got war of the worlds on my mp3  also got it on vinyl which I got in the 80s ocassionaly wind the gramophone up and play it loud, I do love a bit of nostalgia
