just a quick up date but from now on the dogbones will be zinc plated to bs std why you ask well the powder coaters ive used for the last 7 years has been taken over and is now run by a child who has hit me with a min order value, as im getting to old n grumpy to deal with twats ive taken my business elseware - i am assured the zinc plating lasts just as well as powder coating
just keeping everyone in the loop

Aye, someone tried that on me. I was buying a half dozen metric fine screws and the guy said "thatll be £X minimum order cost". So I said "well then youd better give me £X worth then rather than the half that youve put in the bag". Tosser

I came on here today to see if you were still doing the R6 mods and it appears to be the case :-)

Can you still source shocks? and what's the price these days?

Massive thanks to Luke for helping me out with some settings for one of his shocks despite me being the second owner. He clearly knows his stuff, big recommendation from me. Top bloke! Beer on me if we ever meet.

No, I don't think it's the one you need.

Hi just bought a fazer 1000 from a chap on the forum with one of these shocks fitted who said he'd spoke to you devilsyam and had it set for 14.5 stone. Any advise about settings for a 12.5 stone rider?

Now had a few rides on mine (had to get it fitted by a motorcycle mechanic friend as after 13 years the old one was a little reluctant to let go  :D )

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The bike is so planted now, dips in the road no longer feel like they're going to knock your spine out of line and it goes where I point it and doesn't run wide anymore.

It's totally transformed the bike and I'm back in love with it again. I'm totally sure that this year the mileage will be significantly better than it has been for the last 2 or 3 years.
