Wanted: FZS1000 Frame
« on: 21 October 2014, 10:09:22 pm »
Picking up a damaged Fazer 1000 in a couple of days, and rather fix it up on the hope that the frame survived the knock unscathed, I think I'd rather start the build with a confirmed straight frame and do a total rebuild.

Am I right in thinking all frames from 01-05 are the same (apart from colour)? I'm checking the bike out in the shop tomorrow so will be able to confirm the exact date if need be.

Frames seem to be quite rare, I can only find 1 on eBay and that has a dent in it.

Don't mind if its a little scuffed up, I just need one that's straight.

Drop me a pm if you can help.

Thanks

Chris

Maybe try contacting breakers? Anyway, frames are tough things, may be cheaper inspecting it, and seeing if OK before splurging.

That would be the most sensible option, I just wanted to avoid having the whole thing in boxes while the frame gets inspected.
