paypal and deposits warning
« on: 05 July 2014, 04:37:41 pm »
just lost £100 because if the seller says they described the misfiring p-o-s correctly as 'needs a bit of setting up' then paypal say tough shit.
just a heads up to anyone buying on the evil bay.
if they want a deposit, offer £50 otherwise you'll lose proper money, plus your diesel costs.
proper fucked off atm

If buying any vehicle on ebay and paying by paypal you are not covered for money back, ebay rules say that an item must be paid for in full and no deposit should be paid.
If I bought a bike on ebay, I would arrange to pay cash on collection, If the seller didn't agree then I'd leave well alone.
