I would say you are looking at the bottom of the shim in your picture, a quick google shows this, hope it helps

the front ones have arrows to show the direction....doesn't the rear?

I have just rebuilt mine and can say as stated above that you are looking at the bottom of the shim in your picture. There is no specific direction unlike the fronts.
