...  loose the chrome rims

Words I thought I'd never hear from the King of Bling.   You must be mellowing in your old age, mate!  :lol

Intrigued to see which direction you take this project.  The looks of the Gen 2 have always left me cool ... even the most modded ones haven't made me think 'Yeah, I could own that'.

Oddly Mike I always liked the looks of the FZ-1.....just the power delivery I wasnt keen on.

If I do have no need of a few grand I could even be tempted to buy one as a 3rd bike !  :lol

If I knew I could sell it easily afterwards, whats the real cost of ownership...1.5% loss of interest ??

Why Hyperpro make the adjustment holes round and the adjustment tool square is beyond me  :rolleyes

Your gonna enjoy the ride quality, even though you think I set it up too hard  ;)

The main reason I changed from my 1996 vfr was that no breakdown company would promise repatriation of my bike back from Europe, the max age you get full cover was 12 years old,,some are 10 years old,
Otherwise I would still be riding my trusty VFR and would of never stumbled on this forum with its nest of twisted ,muddled middle aged Foocwits,, :lol  oh and the nicehelpful ones.
