Heavy clutch action on Gen 1 Fazer 1000
« on: 23 September 2013, 09:45:21 pm »
Just recently I have noticed the clutch lever on my Fazer has been harder to use.   The clutch also starts dragging in stop start traffic.  I took the old cable off and all was fine, cable was well greased and moving freely .   Refitted it and made adjustments but its not really any better.   Its looking like i will have to replace the clutch plates and springs soon.  So the question is, what plates and springs to go for.  Have any of you got any good recommendations?

Cheers Shaun.

I fitted an ebc clutch to my bike, I fitted a new set of oe springs which were cheaper than ebc springs, my bike had 72k miles on it when I changed the clutch and was probably the original
