Advise please

I have an 02 gen1 fazer and the non standard exhaust is a bit scruffy, I have been offered an exhaust from a similar year vintage R6,
my question to the wise and knowing is will it fit ? Many thanks

Am I right to assume you have an aftermarket can fitted and you are being offered another aftermarket can from an 02 R6?


I assume you have the link pipe for the Gen 1 can fitted so if the R6 can has the same size inlet pipe it should be fine. Most aftermarket cans are similar, a 2" hole is a 2" hole, the length and internal volume of the can affects the noise.

I want to remove the after market product and replace with the proper Yamaha part, I aint worried about pipe dia's my main concern is length and bracket fixing position to the foot peg
