Brake lever
« on: 21 July 2013, 08:59:59 pm »
Would a piece snapped off your brake lever cause the throttle grip to vibrate and numb your hand?
And should the front wheel be balanced
Any help appreciated

Never known a broken lever cause vibes.
Guessing the bike has been dropped? If so bent bars / damaged end weights may be a culprit.
As for wheel balance, are you on (a) new tyre/s?

#1 No (or its never made any difference to any bikes that I ever had)
#2 yes if it needs balancing.

are the bar end weights the right ones and not some alloy ones, try thicker gloves, not ideal in hot weather, try not to grip too hard, unless you have to lol. mine vibrates a bit at 60mph but is ok once you get 70+ thats if I can?
