riding after hernia op

how long after did those of you that have had an hernia op ride your bikes? I had a double keyhole op on Wednesday and have been signed off for 3 weeks

I had op in April but not a keyhole job, 5" scar and mesh . It was about 3wks before I took the bike out and still abit of a struggle to swing the leg over . I was driving the car 2 days after op  , dug and planted the veg plot even before thinking about the bike but the weather helped in that regard.

Your body will let you know when its ready, if it hurts dont push it.

had a double hernia op. same as op as mr macmivvi. i was off work 2 or 3 months! think it was 4 months before o got back on my bike & when i did summit popped in my stomach.  :oops
