High Beach, Epping Forest

I'm going to pay a visit to the tea hut at High Beach, Epping Forest (which was my old stomping ground) to catch up with the old crew one Sunday soon. When I do, it WILL be dry and sunny :sun Any takers?

Haven't decided yet - I'm watching weather forecasts! (I'm not a fair weather rider, but my Fazer is a fair weather bike!  :lol ) Not this weekend coming, but will post when decided. If I can get up early enough ( :z ) I might fit in a run to Finchingfield or somewhere like that too, cos my trip to The Beach and back is a really boring one (A/M40 & M25), and as I said, I'll be (hopefully) picking a sunny day  8) , so I'll want to get some decent riding in.

OK, most replies seem to be from local to the area, so looks like it'll be a meet-up then. Where you travelling from Red?

OK Red, that's easy then. Want to pick somewhere to meet in your area? Then either finish the quick route via M25, or maybe you know a nicer ride in? (Looking at the map, I don't see any obvious ones).

Someone told me Cassington was cancelled this year. Have they got it wrong? If it's on, it's a 15 minute ride from me, so I'll definitely be there if weather's good.

Talking of weather, Met Office say they're expecting this "unsettled" weather to last well into July  :(
If there's no sign of improvement within the next week or two I might have to postpone my High Beach foray. Any comments?
