Clear indicator lenses.
« on: 03 June 2013, 06:20:30 pm »
Spotted another fazer the other day with clear indicator lenses, rather than the usual orange ones. Seen a couple of conversion kits on ebay (lenses + orange bulbs). Anyone had any experience with these? Any good? Any issues/mot problems etc?

Don't particularly see the point to be honest, they're indicators, you won't even have to look at them!!

I had a silver 600 and with clear lenses and rear light I thought it looked nicer and maybe more modern.

I got a clear lenses and orange bulb kit off ebay. I was amazed at how it freshened up the look of the bike. Really brought the bike out of the 90's haha.

Was easy to just swap them over and looks really smart in my opinion. Go for it.  :)

I've just bought these off eBay today, just waiting on delivery. I was going to go with dark smoke ones, but they were double the price and I just wanted to update the look.

Plus they'll probably suit the silver accents on a predominantly blue and black bike better.

Not sure if the link'll work as I'm on me mobile.

That's the very same kit I was looking at. Also got a blue/black Fazer and was thinking likewise, the clear lights would suit it a lot better. Right then, decided it is, I'll treat myself and pop my order in come pay day.

Black double bubble screen looked better in my opinion too.

Looks good. My Fazer is pretty much identical, although I have a blue tinted double bubble screen.
