suspension setup
« on: 31 May 2013, 12:52:31 pm »
having seen delboys suspension setup video again last night i think its about time i sorted mine out!
i assume that the adjustments are the screws on the top of the forks and the twisty bit (technical term!) at the bottom of the back suspension ?
are there any other adjustables ?
thanks :)

The 02 model only allows preload adjustment, not sure if you even have that on the earlier model?

Changing the dog bones in the rear to lift or lower the rear end and also raising or lower front forks will have an effect on the ride (I have +25 mm in rear and -10 mm in front).

But to be honest, there's not really much you can do to the suspension settings that'll make much of a real difference. Hardware changes is the way to go, if you really want to change the feel of the bike.

not so much after changing the feel of the bike, just want to get it back to standard and work from there.
think the person who had the bike before me did a lot of 2 up riding as the back was very firm when i got it (or s/he was a right fatso!)
