Having had a bit of fun on the French side of the channel for a couple of days, we arrived back in Portsmouth last night in what is best described as a monsoon.
Only after 15 miles did I discover that my waterproof trousers were not waterproof and after getting home (another 55 miles) discovered what North Sea Syndrome really is
Note to self, get some Nikwax or some plastic pants before the next trip!
