Morning,have got meself a problem with the cdi,bike has intermitent spark and after checking for loose wire etc found the cdi is cracked and appears to have water in it(rat bike)looks like previose(sp)owner has had a play with it.Don't intend to mess about with it,just replace.Now this is were the problem is,new is roughly 450quid :eek So i'v been hunting around for 2nd hand.Can't find an exact match.My part number is BB7225 3GM-10.
I have seen a few with the same amount of pins but differant part number,could i use one,does any one know of a replecement cdi that has a differant part number or do i keep looking for a match,,,,,,,,,,,,,Many thanks :D

er what is a CDI, certainly not the Vauxhall Cavalier CDi I used to own I am sure???

Its the ecu ie-the brain of the engine :b
