Ferodo platinum are more then capable for road use and are the best I've ever used in the wet- very little difference in stopping from the dry.
I recently fitted the ferodo sintered but only because I did a track day at bedford autodrome and they did not fade once during the day and I am a pretty heavy breaker!

Don't buy those gold fren - I had them on the blackbird and they were pure shit!

EBC HH area a savage pad - more expensive but I love the feel of them and the bite is brilliant.

I bought my front Galfer pads at a reduced price on Ebay but just had a look for you and they've gone back to nearly double the price.
If i'd have known i'd have bought a couple of pairs, because they're bloody great and are barely wearing at all, and also not even wearing the discs out.
I will probably go SBS next time, as i have them on the rear and i'm very pleased with them, and they're a good price.

Just bought the Bendix MF pads for the fz1 which were quite cheap, they're really good! Getting some for the little fazer soon.

Agreed with the EBC HH. Got them on the Tiger and the Fazer....great feel & bite with no fade!

Do not buy Gold Fren! When I removed my front calipers to service them just after New Year I was shocked when at least one pad came away from the backing plate on both sides - they were about 8 months old with very little use.  :eek

*NB* May have said these were Kyoto in a previous post but having recently checked receipts they were in fact Gold Fren. Saying that though, I definitely tried Kyoto pads at the rear and they're worse than useless in the wet so I'd avoid those too.

For the price, you seriously can't go wrong with SBS, they're extremely good value with great feedback.

Very true, pretty sure I paid about £15 a set for my current ones so not that much more expensive than what the OP listed
