My Long term fighter project
« on: 18 December 2012, 07:19:10 am »

This has been my long term FZS fighter project "The Rusty Fucknutt" and I am n a dilemma as wether to finish her, sell her, of break her up. Hmmm Gilles rear sets, Rizoma levers, Nikko G-Pack Ignition unit, R1 front end, gas flowed head & blue printed engine, one off exhaust etc etc

Keep it, I hear they're making another Mad Max movie and may well need some suitable bikes.

....although if the oil suddenly ran out surely all the gangs would have rode around on economical Honda C90s instead of Z1000's?

Hell fire, keep it! Massively regret selling on my streetfighter. Most of the hard work looks like its been done already and will make a cracking road bike.
There's nothing like getting stared at through riding something different :D

you've put a lot of work into it why not finish it and then enjoy the fruits of your labour

scarp it and sell of the parts or sell it as is ?, no never going to get your money back or cover the work you've allready done .

I would say keep her too... but if you find yourself at that point where you need to cash in I would definately be interested in parts!!  :lol

i'd say you would be kicking yourself if you got it that far and didn't finish it. what would it need to get it to a point where you'd be happy with it?

The problem is Deefer that as you know a streetfighter is NEVER finished, no matter what you do. Put your time and effort into one project, and have patience with the other. You know you'll want to build them both :lol

Having seen it in the flesh I can say it looks wicked and merits seeing through to the end. But, go with your heart because at the end of the day that will be the driver of the project you decide on.

Well, She's gone to a bloke who will finish her off. I seriously have enough projects on the go and want my 1400 big blocked FJ on the road. Good thing is that she has gone to the bloke I got her off of originally  :)

Shame you had to sell it but at least you know it's gone to a good home. Nothing worse than selling a loved vehicle and knowing that it's going to be treated like S**t.

Now get some pics up of the new project!  :)

Murder? Rape? Genocide and human rights abuses? Talking loud in the cinema? Horsemeat?

All right smart arse. Nothing worse, in my opinion, when it comes to selling a vehicle.

On a side note, horse meat is very good for you, much like venison. Obviously it's better to not be lied to and to be eating what you think you are eating.

Well, I won't treat it like shit, probably won't murder it.... cant promise not to rape it though, WILL finish it, although I have 2 possible directions in which to take it. Decisions indeed. ;)
