BMW have done a couple of these before (the HP2). They are limited run High Performance versions of existing models (as if a 193bhp litre bike needed more work to gain the label "high performance). Think M Series BMW for bikes. They are effectively building 1000 of them to qualify them for use in the German superbike series.
Comes with all the fancy bits you could throw at it - electronic active suspension (never been on bikes before, monitors suspensions and makes any changes to keep it at peak performance god knows how many times per second), full titanium Akraprovic system, race brakes, lightweight race wheels, launch control, Race ABS, Race Traction Control, etc etc.
