i had my forks done £300. now i gota do the rear end. the price nearly makes me want to cry. where is the best place and price to get a new shock for the rear.

That sounds a bit steep, I hope you had something better than my GoldValve fork mod outlined below for that price!

As for your rear shock, why not get it rebuilt? Cheaper option than a bespoke unit & a few threads on the topic already.
