Where do I buy replacement main jets?
« on: 04 May 2024, 09:59:34 pm »
I've just pulled the airbox out. No way that bad boy is going back in a hurry.
So maybe pod filters and a rejet.
The carbs are minging anyway so I'm happy to pull them to bits and clean them.
I've read 2 125s and two 127.5 main jets and a four click needle lift should sort some fluffiness if I fit pods. Where can I source the jets I need? It's been a while. Thanks.

I would expect the pods will make it run like crap.

It’s worth a go for the lack of hassle of air-box fitment. Bikes that probably dont respond to this are ones with ram-air induction, also the recommendations for upjetting are too conservative, i would double the main jet size, plus 10% to be on the safe side. Yes also raise the needles, where they cant be altered, use shims (tiny washers), and larger pilot jets. Then get it checked on a dyno.

Might be worth ringing Flitwick motorcycles and speak to Steve Linsdell , who knows his stuff.
