Hi Dodsy, I have just checked the Megazip site and I think my ignition barrel is $205 plus delivery to UK. How much was your delivery cost?


What year is your bike, is it a Thou and can you turn the lights off or are they on all the time and you can dip/main beam only?


Lastly, do you know how many wires you have coming out of the barrel, I think I should have two plugs, one with 2 wires and one with 5 wires.

if you take in to consideration the exchange rate it works out cheaper plus sign up to their news letter and wait for a discount up to 20% off

Bugger, I took the 10% discount. Still, much cheaper than Yamaha dealers.

I've just had a look at the website and note that they list the inner fairing panels.
Whilst I don't need them myself I seem to remember others have said they're now getting like hens teeth.

just had a look at megazip for ignition lock, and it seems that the 02 bike which I have is unavailable but the 03 onwards is available, they have a different part number so the question is will they fit or is it just the wiring thats different. Also has anyone tried getting just the barrel replaced

 I assume any parts that are N.L.A. from the likes of fowlers, as Yamaha now have no stock, are unavailable from Megazip, unless they have there own new old stock of course. Obviously they are listed on the parts lists whether available or not?

i ordered inner panels from mega zip it worked out 44 quid plus postage last year
