Hi I’ve got a 2010 S2 in blue but the frame is silver, everything I’ve read about the FZ6 says the frame was black from 2007 when the S2 was launched.


Anyone else got a S2 with silver frame ?

More than likely old stock registered late, check the Yam version number on the frame.

You can also get the model ref No from the the standard exhaust stamp

There was also overlap on silver/black frame bikes for FZ6 06-07 yours could well be one of these and registered later.

Everything looks exactly as it should as an S2 ie brakes, speedo, passenger foot pegs, etc the ONLY difference I can see is my frame is Silver but it is the correct one as it’s chamfered and not box shape.

Mine. 2009 model, S2, Autumn Orange. Yours is definitely an S2 and I reckon either 2008 or 2009. Ive seen a few that blue colour for sale over the years
