It's a bit disappointing that someone assuming the role of a bike breaker can be so ignorant.

Perhaps we should start asking some searching questions  :)

You are excused because you ride a 600 (and possibly because you are blond and female  ;) ).

Any Gen1 1000 rider will tell you that these parts are the relatively useless AIS system that many people remove from their bikes - nothing to do with anything relating to water.
