Handlebar clamp bolts
« on: 27 April 2017, 05:27:23 pm »
My bike came with bar risers fitted, and I want to try it without them, but the clamp bolts are too long. Anyone know the length of the standard bolts, or can take one out and measure it, so I can either borrow a few from work or buy some?

no problem, i only know because i just fitting 30mm risers to mine the other day, sorry i cant offer you the old bolts, i think i might want them for a track day to get down lower on the bars on track ,

I'm 5"10 and the 30mm rise makes long journeys a lot more bearable

Took mine off today, havent had chance to ride it without yet, but Im 6' 2" and feel a bit cramped on it with them fitted. Only had mild steel at work, so bought some off Ebay, 5x m8x30 stainless cap heads, £1.29 with free postage.
