FZS600 mods
« on: 29 December 2016, 10:56:58 am »
Hello all, I have just purchased a 1999 FZS600 which had been damaged. I plan to change the front end and swing arm.
I'm hoping one of your kind fellas has the answers to my questions.......
1- I want to fit gold forks and flat bars, Brembo breaks, what fits?
2- I want to fit a REALLY wide rear wheel and a tubular swing arm, any ideas?
Sorry to bombard but reading some of the comments it's plain to see you guys know your stuff.  Thanks in advance. Mark

I've fitted an EXUP swing arm to mine so that will take a 180 tyre. Also grafted on KTM Super Duke forks, but not finished yet and may have to have yokes made.

Check out the link in my sig.

if youre talking stupid wide, like a 300 rear wheel, check out the bandit forum as this is a reasonably common mod. you will need one of them chain outrigger things that i cant remember the name of, and a one-off swingarm. easy-ish if youre a good engineer/welder, otherwise youre talking silly money to pay someone to do it for you. i assume you mean USD for the front end? again, trawl the mods section and custom/streetfighter forums for advice.
