Immobiliser
« on: 27 November 2016, 01:37:22 pm »
Hi guys

So I saw this immobiliser on eBay (I'm interested in putting remote start on my bike) and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were? does anyone have any experience which these sort of things on a FZS600? Would it actually be that good for the bike considering the bike and battery are a bit older than most bikes?

Just any tips or advice would be much appreciated as always guys. Link in below

Thanks for your help guys  :)

Personally, I wouldn't trust anything that cheap when it comes to security. I'd look for something approved by Thatcham or the like.

Oh no i wouldn't trust it for security, trust me ive got an amax chain and lock for home and a different chain, and 2 alarmed disc locks for when I'm out and about, i was just wanting it for the remote start as childish as it sounds😂

Plenty of info on the interwebs  about making your own remote start  system with bits bought from maplins.  Costs pennies  too  ;)
