Start Button
« on: 16 August 2016, 09:59:46 am »
I am wondering if the contacts on my start button need a clean. I have noticed on two occasions nothing happens when pressed. It then sprung to life on second attempt.

Never taken this apart before....will it spring into a million pieces all over the garage floor if I attempt to clean it and is there anything in there that would benefit from a look at?

Side stand switch is also often the culprit, you can trace wires back to the connection under side panel and join the two wires together with a link made with a short wire and crimp connectors.
Remember that you will be able to ride with side stand down, so don't forget.

Clutch, side stand and kill switch all part of interlock system

Good luck hope you sort it
