Lit cigarettes being thrown from cars

Has anyone ever been hit by a lit cigarette (or any rubbish) being thrown from a car at all? I was behind a car today who threw one which narrowly missed me, just wondered if anyone ever had one in the face or anything and if you did anything about it?

I've had a fag butt caught in my rucksack strap and by the time I noticed it it had burned a big hole right through

I've had apples thrown at me, a flask of coffee emptied out of the window of a lorry, fireworks aimed at me and been spat at and spat on.
Plus had the side of my boot run over by some maniac irate woman.

Totally agree fella, sometimes get tempted to stick a handful of M8 nuts in my pocket to return the favour

This is the most common event, it would be interesting to see the CoSH details for the stuff.

I have had to bite my lip several times over the years as far as windscreen wash is concerned, but have come to a loose conclusion that not all people are malicious and some do innocently just want to clean their windscreen but due to movement of the car added with the wind the only place that the liquid can travel is straight over the car and into ANY vehicle behind it.
Slightly different shenanigans when you're sitting still behind a motor at lights and the jet of liquid flies totally over the whole car into your face and you can see a couple of dipsticks sniggering in the mirrors though.

Had this today from a woman in a Beemer. It just shows me that they have no idea you are behind them, or just don't give a foc.

All smokers are the same, they dont think their fag butts are their rubbish. It's fine to chuck em out on the road or pavement and leave em.

It was a Beemer, i wouldn't be surprised if they threw pots and pans at you.
