Gen 1 short link pipe
« on: 26 February 2016, 10:27:30 am »
Has anyone replaced the standard link pipe with something shorter for an aftermarket can? It's the one thing that annoys me about the look of these bikes.

I don't know if you've considered having a link pipe made to your own requirements. In the south of the country there's a custom exhaust franchise called Stainless Longlife. You just turn up with your bike and chosen can, tell them where you want it to go, and they'll do the rest, fabricating any brackets if necessary. I don't think they have any dealerships north of Ipswich though. Just a thought.
