Wanted - Fazer/Fzs/FZ6

Hi there, I passed my test two days ago and now I'm on the look out for a bike. I'm really after any model fazer as long as it is of a reasonable condition/not super high mileage and within my budget of £1700. However preferably the newer the better as I'd hope that means less to go wrong on me.

Well done on passing your test. Fazer 600 - excellent choice (but you're not having mine  ) £1700 should get you a late decent FZS600 foxeye or any early FZ6. Newer isn't always better. Look for something that has been well cared for. Lots of excellent bikes come up on here. Good luck.

Thanks for the information. Hopefully something will pop up for me on here. Keeping my eye out for usual culprits on eBay etc. The old shape Fazers certainly have an appeal.

Hi Lee, I've decided to sell my fazer, its a 98 boxeye, 32k lots of extras and very clean.

I have 2003 Foxeye for sell have sent you email  . The bike is not advertised for sale anywhere yet. The reason I am selling is I may be upgrading to FZ1. That is how I found your ad in for sale section 

It has new iridium spark plugs added, new front sprocket nut changed, new Tsubaki gold chain with new front and rear sprockets, new short levers, new MRA screen. Just changed the rear and front pads. Rear EBC organic cause I like the back soft and smooth, front SBS sinthered. Last week new air filter K&N. Bike has 35k MOT till June 2016. PM me if interested. I am in Bracknell, Berkshire you can pop up any time to see it.

I'm selling mine (02 foxeye) but it has a fault that I can't resolve... it won't rev past 6k in any gear... £600 (am in Waterlooville)

Going to be selling my fzs600 2003 in a few weeks, gotta get a new MOT and service first but will be looking for 1800 Ono. It's got around 18k miles on it, scorpion end can, heated grips, top box also tyres only have a few hundred miles on them. Located in South Wales, only selling due to wanting fzs1000

Well done passing your test. A Fazer 600 will be a cracking first bike for you and you'll find this forum amazingly helpful 

That looks in cracking condition Panthor. I may be in the market for a 600 myself depending on what happens job-wise (interview tomorrow). I'll keep my eyes open

I have a 98 5dm fazer 600 original one
Years mot , carbon hugger,fender extender, k&n ,blue flame exhaust sounds awesome, braided hoses,renthal bars,rented rack ,Haynes manual loads of paper work ,both tyres new battle axe,also have Fzs 1000 rear brake with modified mount and Fzs 1000 mirrors loads of spares to go with it £1350 Ono

I can't help you with the bike (my FZ6 isn't for sale!) but when you get one, if you fancy a bit of Advanced Training, come along to any of the Solent Advanced Motorcyclists SAM Sunday events on the first Sunday of each month at Sarisbury Green and get a free Assessed Ride

We also do regular Ride Outs (almost) every weekend at different Levels, so you'd be welcome to join in once you sign up.
