If the impact from the pothole has damaged the rim,has it damaged the tyre as well?
There used to be a firm in Stockton on Tees that repaired them, called Thersby or something like that but you had to send the wheel to them.

If the dent is subtle, check with a local MOT place as it will mostly likely only be an advisory.

It is subtle , slightly flat on the bead, not round,,tyre is fine,,i now need a new tyre as its fooked, pushed it a bit hard in Wales ( a few times )
so when the tyre is off I wondered if its possible to press it out.

If you sustained the damage as a result of a pothole   put a claim in to your local council for the cost of repairs/replacement.

I bought another wheel second hand for my ducati 916. rode it back from italy with a dented rim after hitting a pot hole at speed on the motor way. It was so bad i could see the bottom of the tyre rim.

While at the tyre shop. I borrowed a mallet and gently hit it. There was the chance it would crack or brake but I took that chance. I made it a bit more round and left it.

It was on my mind after that it could be weak so i replaced it when i got back home to the uk after a 1200 mile journey.

Up to you as to what to do next.

Google it for someone close to you as many car wheel repairers also repair motorcycle wheels.

The local fellow in Cork who does it said that the Fazer wheels are easy to fix and do not crack like the BMW GS ones

It's gold , you blind FOCCER

Here is the tyre fitted, not bad considering you could see the whole depth of the bead, I managed to scrape the rim tape,,it's getting taty anyway so will be up for stripping and replaceing.
