Won't take long to realise I'm a bit of a Dave Mathews fan
Cover of Akk along the watchtower, intro's a little anal but worth a listen

Today I am mostly listening to 16th \Century renaissance music by the likes of Byrd, Montiverdi, Tallis and Victoria to name a few :-)  I love singing this type of music too, not today though LOL

eg

yesterday it was '90s house music!

Watched someone sing this on telly the other day, looked it up and although i've not really heard of the singer before it would appear she's not doing too bad for herself.  :look

I've sung that 3 times now, once in The Albert Hall, once in Canterbury Cathedral and once in a local concert venue..... ooooo get me!  ha ha

Anyway, watch this, if you like that piece and ever wondered what the words are, it's not what's in the following clip!  ha ha

I actually really enjoyed that. Wouldn't have picked it in a million but reckon it's a good wind down after a crap day.

I keep a copy of Carmina Burana in the car, I "sing"  along  to it when I have a long motorway stint to do.

Today it's Tool's album AEnima.

I'd put up their video of Forty Six & 2, but this version is incredible.

I do a class called Body Combat (martial arts moves, but done to music) at the gym twice a week and in one of the releases, the Muay Thai track used the Excalibur version of O Fortuna (ie the third verse). I'd always loved it, so I actually set about learning the lyrics for it so I could belt them out when doing that track :)

Marci, the instructor used to get everyone just going "La la la" along with the music, but I know how to project my voice, so I could equal her on the mic and everyone else singing in volume :D
