« on: 07 January 2015, 09:29:47 pm »
Hi all, any recommendations for tank resprays in tyne and wear.
I have had a tray of garden hand tools fall of a shelf on to my tank. Nightmare!!

how's about getting it dipped or wrapped? might be cheaper than a respray.

I would need to dip other bits to make a theme but worth thinking about. However I really like the Galaxy blue, looks great on a sunny day.

If the tank can come off the bike for a little while, contact Deefer666. I saw the fix job and respray he did on Exupnut's bike, and it's fantastic!

Had my tank at a chipsaway guy who does bike stuff. The first respray had a fault where the yamaha logo decals had some wrinkles in them under the lacquer. The guy bought new decals and tried again, however he has had the same issue. He is now giving me it back and washing his hands so back to square one.

Merlin Coachworks at Framwellgate Moor, Durham, did a great job on Liz's VF750 (full re-do of all bodywork) - although it was 10 years ago.

Picture's the best we've got unfortunately.
