paint help?
« on: 09 February 2015, 04:11:34 pm »
Decided my clear (clear yellow discoloured scratched) screen needed to be black and im a tight git so sprayed it (on the inside)
problem is i used gloss and it looks matt through the screen.

Anything i can do to add a shine to it?

looks amazing when wet but i dont have the time to rig up a system to sprinkle water on it constantly!

with and without camera flash

Plastic polish the outside of the screen?
Toothpaste if you're that tight ;).

Seen as you've already got a sprayer, how about a thin coat of laquer?
Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.

Yeah i tried it once on headlights too and to be honest i think it's too fine of a polish.
i ended up sanding the headlights back starting with quite a coarse grit (for plastic, about 400?) and finishing up with 2500 before moving onto polishing compound...they came up very nicely.
