I need to lower my FZ6 S2 2008

Ive lowered my bike using the bracket from weemoto £128 now I can touch the floor  :lol  just want it to stop raining  :'( so I can get out

How much do you need to lower it by? On my FZ6-SA ('06 model) I had the seat cut down an inch by a local upholsterer (who also dose bike seats) which makes a noticeable difference and only cost £30.

So Manx Fairy, I know it's nothing to do with lowering your seat but where on the Island are you from?
I'm from Castletown originally and my wife is from Laxey, we left to go to university and never went back to live although we visit family there regularly.
