fazer shock
« on: 13 November 2014, 05:07:40 pm »
Hi,
just removed the rear shocker this afternoon from my fazer 1000 gen 1 and noticed that the round canister at the top of the shocker  has  what looks like a large plastic sealing washer on the end and is not located in the hole right.
About a third of it has tilted proud of the canister, would of thought this is not normal, any body could just check on theirs please.
Will try post photo of it later

You're referring to the cover on the end of the pressure reservoir, I think.  I'm pretty sure it's just there for cosmetic reasons.

Yes i am sure its the reservoir Falcon, just had a look at photos of the R6 on this site and the cap on them looks like  an alloy disc held in with a spring.
Falcon, if i try removing this cover or push it back in i wont do any damage, or just leave it.

dave,  when you say eyelet, is that the top mounting for the shocker, as this looks ok.

thanks
