Hello from Colwyn Bay
« on: 23 August 2014, 12:34:10 pm »
Hi all, I've been a member for a few months, joined when I got my 03 blue foxeye in July, but don't remember introducing myself.  I live in North Wales and also have  a 1991 XJ600 which I use mainly during the winter months. I fancied a new ride and spotted a low milage (8000m) FZS600 beauty in Basingstoke, trip with trailer and it was all mine. Love the ride now that I've got it firing on all four cylinders again, and just hoping the weather sets fair for a couple of weeks before I mothball her for the winter.

Always lots of help and tips galore here, I'm looking forward to lots of banter on the forums....

Hope to join you all on a ride out sometime

David

Welcome David. Lots of nice rides from Colwyn Bay. I frequently end up at the Cayley cafe on Rhos on Sea promenade during a ride. Like yourself, I have an XJ 600, in addition to the Fazer, which I ride all the year round. Glad that you are pleased with the FZS 600.

Welcome David, I'm hoping the weather is going to be decent down your way as I'll be in Prestatyn for a few days from tomorrow although Bikeless :(

Welcome  to the forum. I lived in Rhos on Sea way back in 1978-1980. Was up in Snowdonia last weekend(in car unfortunately) but hope to get up to the Lakes (Vrynwy & Bala) this Wed/Thurs, weather smiling of course! Some amazing roads& scenery keeps bringing me back. :lol

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  There are some fantastic roads to ride and scenery to view in North Wales.....and on the occasions when the sun shines its up there with the best of them.  Dave48...its Wed and the sun is shining here (at the moment) so make sure you have the sun cream packed!! :D
