hi would anyone have any idea if the mainstand from the gen1 fzs1000 would be the same as the one from the fazer 600 or other bikes. we both know they are often made up of parts from other or older models. my mainstand has rotted away and i need another one i can see a lot of fzs600 bikes in breakers but no fzs1000 i have asked on here in the sale and wanted but no response

I have no idea but why not take your old stand off and take it to a breakers.  That way you can compare it to the stands from other models to see if you can find a match.

Part-finder - 0906 030 1572, its £1.50 per minute but they email over 200 breakers for you.

But a quick ebay search found a good one in the US, this stand just needs a clean with WD40.

The main stand is unique to the fazer 1000 I'm afraid, suttons price is £212
