Gen 1 & Gen 2 Exup Motor
« on: 29 July 2014, 01:24:59 pm »
Does anyone know if the Gen1 and Gen2 exup valve motors are the same....mine is still playing up and I've seen a picture of one at a local breaker that looks very similar.....for £30 its well worth it.

There seems to a screw missing from this one in the number 2 marking......haven't a clue what that would be for......this apparently came off a 2004 fuel injection model.....I thought fuel injection was only on the Gen2 and came out in 2006

Now fitted........the boys at Dynotech Ecosse did a brilliant job......had to do a bit with the dremel to get the rubber mounting to fit but its working perfectly......put it on the dyno and showing 134bhp at the back wheel and smooth curves all the way....fuelling is perfect too.

Mick, these guys are top mechanics and have done quite a lot of work on my Fazer, so not just the exup they can do pretty much everything....also have a dyno set up so you can see the improvements when you get the full monty done.
