buy one of these here Fazer 1000 contraptions - just as soon as I sell my big, beefy TDM900 which is, frankly, in danger of sending me to sleep.

No doubt as soon as I get one I'll be back on here crying like a baby about it being too fast and why didn't anybody warn me etc etc.

The question I'd like to ask you all is - have any of you found yourself gettting bored with the 'thou and wishing you'd gone for a ZX 9/10 or Gixer or whatever.

Herbert I have owned some very fast sports bikes & some not so fast ones. I see 160mph on my Fazer clock from time to time (private road of course). I ride with Hyabusa's, GSXR1000's, Fireblades 1200 Bandits etc. Sometimes long distance, sometimes short blasts. My Fazer is every bit as good as any other bike I have owned & in many ways a whole lot better. It's not all about top speed with the Fazer for me. Having said that they don't exactly hang about. They are a great all round package in my eyes. Once you buy one & ride it you will know what I'm saying. The comfort of your TDM with the speed of a decent sports bike. Bit like having your cake & eating it.  8)

I traded in a ZX10R for my FZS1000 a couple of years ago & though I loved the sheer nuttyness of the 10R, I've never regretted it for a moment.

I do however still regret selling the ZX-9R that I traded in for the ZX-10R....

That's another one - the Zx-9R - that's definitely on the radar. Not too sure how I'd be with all this 'leaning forward' malarkey though.
