rear spring
« on: 04 July 2014, 04:54:18 pm »
Can anyone explain why the 600 comes with a rear spring rated at 839 pounds/inch and the thou only has a 420.26 lb/inch rating, yet both bikes state similar maximum load figures?

Whilst I am certain some may feel this an absolutel stupid question, not as intellectually challenging as Rocket science thus a complete waste of their valuable time:
Would it be possible for someone a little lower down the IQ chain to explain possibly why the 600 comes with a rear spring rated at 839 pounds/inch and the thou only has a 420.26 lb/inch rating, yet both bikes state similar maximum load figures?

And the thou shock has an adjustable external gas reservoir which affects compression rate allowing for a softer spring!
Some say...
