fans coming on

hi, recently passed test and bought myself a fzs1000 dont know much about bikes running my bike in garage after about 2 mins fans come on also happened when i was out on a cold day and wasn't pushing bike no red light showing is this normal ckecked fluid level spot on anyone have any ideas. cheers

They all do that if when you start it and leave it ticking over. Put it in first gear and will go off. No idea why thay do that.

it is just to let you no the fan is working so you don,t cook the motor
