The Two Funeral Services
« on: 10 January 2014, 10:35:21 am »
I am sure I am not the only one, who is finding comfort that Tims & Drillers Services are on the same day and the same time, I think all of us, will be thinking of the other foccer, no matter which service we attend.  No one should be feeling torn between the two, they should just go to whichever service they want to attend, in the certainty that at both services we will be thinking of them both

Nicely put. In a way I'm glad that I'm out of the country and cannot attend either,  not a nice choice to make.

Thats the point i was trying to make is that no one should need to feel they have to choose, as both of them will be going on their own rideout together, i know so many people will not be able to make it, but will be raising their own glasses, or having a quiet moment to themselves on the day.

I think they will both be riding together.

And I'm sure it will end up in a race.

I didn't really know Driller plus Tim was my "first" Foccer.
I'm going to see Tim off but will think of both.
Sad times.....

Unfortunately I have a Hospital appointment on 23rd that I can`t miss as it`s taken me a while to get it. Will be thinking of both foccers on the day.

Just seen this post, very sad news.
I will try to make it to Drillers procession weather permitting and it will give me an excuse to get the Fazer out of the mothballs and say farewell to a thoroughly nice bloke.

Very sad to hear of these two. I was hoping to go to Tim's funeral tomorrow but am not able to attend. I don't know if I ever met Driller, but I certainly met Tim on a number of occasions and read many of his posts. A very funny guy and good bloke. Glad I met him and sorry that he's passed on.
