hi all newbie here what i want to know is what can i expect to gain from removing the
air system from my gen 1 fazer 1000,  cheers.

A box full of about 2kgs of useless junk and improved access to the spark plugs.  No difference in performance either way and no issues with the MOT. :)

Cleaner looking top of the engine, easier spark plug access, you wont have to remove it again if you are removing the cam cover for valve checks etc and apart from that nothing  :) . No more power and no more noise. Oh you will save a kilo or so throwing it out.

in a certain kind of light, sitting on the garage bench it will look like a giant spider waiting to pounce  :lol

Still - its easier to remove than changing your plugs without removing  :lol

Don't go buying the removal kit, an M8 tap and 4 stainless cap head bolts (Don't have to be stainless or caphead, just prettier) and a couple of rubber plugs.
