I think you mean < 1 :P Just to be pedantic ;)

The 1 is on the larger side of the equality sign which means it is the larger of the two values - the other value being the weight of the trailer. Therefore 1 ton is greater than the weight of the trailer ;)

I know what I meant, and I know what I wrote.

I also know I wrote that on my phone, and suspect I am still a bit shitfaced. Looking back, 4 (LARGE) shots of Sambuca at 5am wasn't such a great idea...

No, you're not trying hard enough. If you really want to be pedantic, you'd have said:

I think you mean < 1 metric tonne.

Keep practicing  :lol

When metric, it's a TON:

To be clear Cristo, you can tow a trailer up to 1750Kg as long as the car doing the towing is heavier than the trailer and the total of the two is less than 3500Kg (assuming you got an English licence)

Lots of people get confused over the B+E bit. With B+E you can go up to 3500 on the car/van and then add the trailer but with the B part only its the weights above though until recently it was 3500 for the car and another 750Kg for the trailer.

The way they build those Volvos, I'm not so sure! Best thing I've ever seen was a competition at a rally where you had to cut up a Volvo and post it bit by bit through a letterbox  :lol

Oh God, Christo in a Volvo  :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :groan
