04 Ignition fitted to 03 FZS1000

HI, can anyone help?


I have replaced the Ignition switch on my FZS1000 (03) with an 04 switch.


Have a small red and brown wire left over! This appears to be the sidestand switch wire.


Any ideas what I need to do to get this working as the sidestand switch no longer works

A few questions

Does yours have a Lights on/off switch on the right hand handlebar?

How many wire were on the original Ignition switch and what colours?
How many wires are on the replacement Ignition switch and what colours?
