Gloss, had mine powder coated as part of my winter clean up and they are so much nicer when they are gloss.
 
The downside is they get dirty quite quickly but the flip side of it is that they don't look dirty they just look satin again  8)

I painted the wheels on my 750 Turbo gloss red to tidy up the original red satin finish that had faded with ingrained dirt that just wouldn't clean off. And they were then just sooooo easy to clean! Another good reason for gloss. :)
