Fatbars are the way forward Dave. Got a set on mine after several setups, Renthal 604 or 602 fatties on low clamps are really comfy.

It does help, I was looking at doing it from the link, as in when first putting on!
These fat bars then other than clamps what else needs changing, switches and brakes are set at 22mm, or is fat bars just a name? Fat bars I've seen are I think are 30mm!

These are WRC fatbars, bit the Renthal ones are the same. Bigger diameter (28mm) clamp area which compliment the fz nicely. Not cheap though.

If a bigger diameter does everything clamp back on ok?
Also I've no issues with the std bars and find them comfortable as well so no need to change for me!

Yeah, the clamp area is still 22mm so everything still fits. They just look a bit better than standard imho.
If you need the bars to be a bot wider, but still like the standard look, I have a set of custom bar extenders for the fz1 that I won't use again. They make a bit of a difference.

They make the standard bars 760mm wide which I found really comfy.

I just need them a bit higher and back toward me, just to push me back a bit, I've a bit of tennis elbow and my arms start to ache after a while, I'm lent forward just a tad too much! I'll have a trip to a shop and see how they fit!

Anybody know the highest bees you can fit without changing cables??
Jumped in many a time and bought before working it all out and it costing same again before getting it right!!
Best to ask, measure twice buy once!
